A competiitor to my fav the Escamillo. The Gatherer's Gold is produced on large plants that have great leaf coverage. They bear an abundant crop. Unlike a bell, they are a long tapered Corno di Toro type with thick walls and very sweet flavor. Fruit ripens to a vibrant gold, but is sweet even when harvested green. Great for growing in garden plots, raised beds, and greenhouses.  They can be enjoyed fresh or fried. Best part, these peppers contain very few seeds, making them easy to use.
