Amaryllis 'Marilyn' is one of the most elegant double-flowered white amaryllis available. Its pristine blossoms resemble peonies or gardenias, with layers of silky white petals that create a full, romantic display. A favorite for indoor forcing holiday decorating and winter flowering, if you are lucky enough to live in zone 9 and  above you can plannt in your yard

The flowers open pure snow white, occasionally displaying the faintest hint of soft ivory or pale green at the throat while in bud. As the blooms mature, they become a luminous, glowing white that reflects light beautifully. Unlike single amaryllis, Marilyn's densely layered petals eliminate the prominent stamens, giving each flower a lush, sculpted appearance.
