Fresh or dried peppermint leaves can be used alone or with other herbs in herbal teas or  infusions.  Peppermint is used for flavoring any of your DIY projects: ice cream, candy, fruit preserves, alcoholic beverages, chewing gum, toothpaste, and some shampoos, soaps, and skin care products. If you are wicked cool, turn the leaves into a peppermint oil and fight all the colds off.
