Description

The Stargazer Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) is a popular winter-blooming bulb known for its bold, high-contrast ruby-red or cherry-red blossoms marked by a sharp white starburst pattern radiating from the center. 
Key Characteristics
Flower Size & Shape: Large, trumpet-like flowers measuring roughly 6 to 8 inches across.
Height: Grows to a mature height of about 18 to 24 inches.
Bloom Count: Each bulb typically produces 2 sturdy flower stems, with 4 to 5 blossoms per stem (yielding up to 8–10 total blooms).
Bloom Time: Generally flowers in about 4 to 8 weeks (or January through March for Dutch-grown bulbs) after planting. 
Care and Growing Instructions
Light: Place the pot in bright, indirect indoor light.
Watering: Water sparingly at first until green growth appears; keep the top inch of soil dry between waterings and avoid getting water directly on the neck of the bulb.
Support: Rotate the pot occasionally so the stem grows straight, and use a small stake if the heavy blossoms cause the plant to lean.
